📘Nativo is a supporter of the IAB initiative ads.txt, also known as Authorised Digital Sellers. Where there is evidence of an ads.txt, Nativo endeavors to only purchase publisher inventory from authorized sellers. In the event that an ads.txt file is not present, Nativo will not exclude that publisher from targeting, but suggest that all publishers adopt ads.txt at the earliest opportunity.
What are ads.txt and app-ads.txt?
ads.txt stands for Authorized Digital Sellers and its more recent extension for mobile apps, app-ads.txt stands for Authorized Sellers for Apps. The project mission is simply to increase transparency in the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
Created to help eliminate counterfeit inventory from entering the open digital advertising ecosystem, IAB Tech Lab’s Ads.txt Specification version 1.0.1 and App-ads.txt v1.0 enables content owners to declare who is authorized to sell their inventory.
Nativo has had a long-held stance on transparency, authenticity, and accountability and we are fully supportive of IAB’s efforts.
