Nativo uses JavaScript to dynamically inject native ads and sponsored content into your site while maintaining the existing look and feel of each publication. Placing the Nativo Tag on your pages brings all that functionality in with one snippet of HTML.

Standard Integration Benefits

Nativo's standard integration is the simplest and fastest option and offers streamlined management of your Native advertising program and simplified trafficking for multi-site publishers.

  • Scale a single campaign across multiple properties

  • Centralized inventory control, delivery, and reporting

  • Cross-screen deployment and optimization

  • Uniquely focused on native article executions

Integration Step-By-Step

Getting started with Nativo using the standard integration involves these important steps:

  1. Install the Nativo Tag on your site

  2. Map and design your placements

  3. Create a Content Landing Page template

  4. Update your ADS.TXT entries (for monetization)

Note that Nativo may need up to 5 days lead time to complete back-end activation.

Step 1. Install the Nativo Tag on your site

Add the following Nativo Tag to the header of all the pages on which native ads will serve.

Nativo Tag

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://s.ntv.io/serve/load.js" async></script>

👍Place Nativo Tag In The Header

Nativo Tag should be added just before the closing </head> tag.

❗️Poor Tag Placement Will Hurt Performance And UX

  • Do not add Nativo Tag in the <body> of the page

  • Do not add Nativo Tag wrapped in other tags like <div> or <p>

  • Do not add Nativo Tag twice on the page

Step 2. Map and design your placements

Once the Nativo Tag is installed on your site, the Nativo team can begin the placement mapping and In-feed Unit (IFU) design.

  • Identify where you want native ads to appear on your site.

  • Provide mocks or screenshots for any custom designs (optional).

The Nativo Platform Success team will provide suggestions on ad placements based on site layout and proven best practices. You can also provide mocks of ideal ad placement for the Nativo design team. Nativo’s team will then design all applicable placements for your review and approval.

See the Integration Best Practices & Style Guide section for more details.

Step 3. Create a Content Landing Page template

Adding a content landing page ensures that you can receive all of Nativo demand as well as take advantage of all of the direct selling tools in the platform.
