The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is a California privacy law that went into effect January 1, 2020. The CCPA extends certain rights to California residents with respect to their personal information, including a right to request that businesses not sell the residents’ personal information to third parties.

Nativo has implemented specifications for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Compliance Framework for Publishers and Technology Companies and plans to support participating publishers. The IAB CCPA Framework enables publishers to send a signal to partner technology companies indicating whether a consumer has opted out of a “sale”. We encourage all publishers to become IAB Framework participants as well.
