Click Trackers by Device Type

Click Tracking is the process of counting the number of times an Ad or CTA Link has been clicked, when it was clicked and by whom. Click trackers are great for recording engagement with emails, links, and User Experience. In this guide we will cover the steps on adding click trackers for multiple devices in the Nativo Platform.

📘Why would I want this?

This data will give you access to more meaningful analytics on a granular level. Choose whether to track on all device types or specific devices.

Determining the Scope and Location

Click trackers can be implemented under the Campaign orBudget level.

Adding Tracker on Campaign Level

  1. Simply navigate to Campaign > Edit > Tracking tab.

  2. Select the Event where you wish to implement your click tracker tag.

Adding Tracker on Budget Level

  1. Simply navigate to Campaign > Edit Budget > Tracking tab

  2. Select "Override Campaign tracking settings" radio button.

  3. Select the Event where you wish to implement your click tracker tag.

🚧Don't Forget!

In order to edit the Budget level tracking settings you will need to select the "Override Campaign Tracking Settings" or "Override Campaign and Budget Tracking Settings" radio buttons.

Tracking by Device

Choose the Event you wish to track from the dropdown. Click events are available on the Ad unit, CTA Link on the Content Landing Page, Companion Assets, and more. The "Track By" option allows you to specify the device you're looking to track by, whether it's all or specific devices.

  1. Select the event you're interested in tracking.

A Click on an Ad unit is considered a "Click to Content" event in the Tracking Tab within the Nativo Platform.
