This walk-through will help you create all the elements necessary to launch a campaign.

Step 1: Create An Advertiser

  1. Click on the Campaigns tab

  2. Navigate to the Advertisers sub-tab, and select Create Advertiser

  3. Complete the form fields (Company Name, Logo, Vertical)

  4. Set Status to Active

  5. Click Save Changes

  6. The Active Advertisers page allows you to view all advertisers you have created and edit them later as needed

Step 2: Start Campaign Creation

  1. On the Campaigns main page, click + Create Campaign button to begin the campaign creation workflow

  2. Complete form fields, including Campaign Name and by choosing the Advertiser (which you have already created)

  3. The Advertiser Logo will auto-populate. You can also override it here by uploading a new logo for this campaign

  4. Within the Tracking tab, select any optional events and devices that are being tracked for the campaign and enter the respective HTML codes. This applies tracking at the campaign level. You have the option to leave this blank and enter tracking tags at the Ad level as well
Note: To ensure proper rendering of the ad unit on live campaigns, add display:none styling on any image trackers

  1. The Assets tab is used when creating Native Article campaigns. This is where you upload the Content Landing Page assets such as: banner companion ads, social widgets, and related content companion ads. This can also be done at the Ad and Creative level, further along in the process

  2. Click Save Campaign

Step 3: Create Budget

You will be redirected to the Campaigns homepage after saving your newly created campaign. The next step is to create the budget associated with the campaign. Budgets include details such as pacing, pricing, rate types, and flight dates.

  1. Click Create Budget to assign a name and inventory source to your budget.
    - Inventory sources:
    - Owned and Operated → Direct Sold Campaigns
    - Content Amplification → Reach Extension Campaigns
Note: Please contact your Nativo Account Manager if you do not have access to Content Amplification

  2. Please enter Budget and Rate information to accurately forecast available inventory for the dates of your campaign
    - Available Rate Types include CPM / vCPM / CPC / CPV/CPCV
Note: It is highly recommended to use the correct rate of your direct sold campaign so that the Nativo ad platform can properly optimize yield for your inventory. By inputting an inaccurate rate, you may be negatively impacting the prioritization of your campaign

  3. The Targeting tab is used to enforce targeting parameters such as Geo (country, state/region, DMA, city, zipcode), Mobile Network, Internet Service Provider and Device Type. Bulk upload is available for 25+ Geos, Mobile Networks, ISPs, and Devices

  4. The Placements tab is where you specify the inventory for this campaign at the category, publisher, publication, or placement level

  5. Click Check Inventory to forecast available inventory after targeting parameters have been applied

  6. Click Save Budget

  2. Preview Text: Preview text will appear within the native ad unit alongside the headline and preview image

  3. Preview Images: Upload preview images. The ad server will auto-crop, optimize, and deliver the best performing preview images according to your campaign KPIs

  4. Headlines: We recommend entering 6-10 headlines for optimal performance. The ad server will optimize and deliver the best performing headlines according to your campaign KPIs

  5. Companion Assets: Companion Assets render alongside the content created in step 6. Companion assets are display ads, and social widgets such as Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest feeds
